Terms And Conditions: Please show up to your appointment 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
**DO NOT SHOW UP MORE THAN 10 MINUTES EARLY.** This ties up parking and is against the neighborhood bylaws.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be rescheduled and you will be charged a $50 missed appointment fee.
Please allocate extra travel time during rush hour (4:00 pm to 6:30 pm).
You will need to bring all original documents including but not limited to drivers license, W2s, 1099s, mortgage interest
statements, LES, Trip Sheets, Bank Statements for all 12 months if you are self-employed, receipts and/or bank card
payments for all expenses claimed. ***NEW*** I am required to keep a copy of all documents submitted. Along with the original documents, you will have to bring a photocopy of all of the documents along with totals for each category. If you do not provide photocopies of documents, you will be charged a $10 copy charge. If self-employed, there will be a $60 per hour bookkeeping fee added to your bill. To avoid additional fees, bring copies and totals along with the originals. We recommend that you bring the social security card for new dependents.
If you do not have all your documents, and we have to look something up and/or get a printout off the internet, there will be a lookup fee of $15 per item added to your bill. If you have to call your mortgage company or student loan interest office, for example, you will also be charged $15. Failure to bring all documents greatly delays processing time. To avoid these charges PLEASE BRING ALL OF YOUR DOCUMENTS.
You will be required to bring a copy of last year’s tax return, even if I have it. If you do not bring the return, I will have to print one out at the appointment, and there is a $15 charge for this.
If you need copies of past returns, there is a $15 charge per return.
If you need us to find copies of W2s or any tax documents that you have misplaced, there will be a $15 charge for this.
DO NOT GIVE AWAY YOUR COPY OF THE TAX RETURN. If student loan or bank loan offices, for example, need a copy of your tax return, please go to the copy shop, make a copy, and give them a copy. NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR COPY.
If you need a letter for your mortgage company, there is a $30 charge for the mortgage letter. Mortgage letters cannot be faxed. You must pick these up.
No tax returns or documents can be faxed. If you are out of town, we can mail it to you. If you are in town, you will have to schedule an appointment for a pickup. The aforementioned charges will be applied.
If you do not have all your information at the time of your appointment, you will be charged a $20 rework fee. To avoid this have all your documents ready.
We recommend that you review last year’s tax return to get a general idea of what information yhou will need to bring. If there is something new and you are not sure, BRING IT.
Rates And Fees:

My rates have remained the same for the last 8 years. It is $15 per page. However, IRS now has added some additional forms or has expanded some of the forms to two pages, so expect to see an increase in your bill. Please see the rates and fees and terms and condition for more information about costs. Expect your total bill to increase from last year.
***NEW FEES***
- There will be a $10 flat rate photocopy fee added to each bill. If you bring original documents AND 1 photocopy for me to keep, you will avoid this charge.
- There will be a missed appointment fee of $50 per each missed appointment. To avoid this, write your appointment down in your calendar and don’t forget.
- If you cancel an appointment in less than 24 hours, it will be treated as a missed appointment for billing purposes, and you will be charged a missed appointment fee. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will need to reschedule your appointment as this is considered a missed appointment.
- If you do not have all of your documents, there will be a $15 lookup fee per document. If you do not have your mortgage statement or any other document, and you have to call during the appointment to get figures, you will be charged a lookup fee. TIP: Have all of your documents in hand at the time of the appointment to speed up processing and eliminate fees.
- You will need to provide a copy of last year’s return even if I prepared it. If you do not have it, there will be a $15 fee per return.
- If you are self-employed and do not have totals, there will be a $60 per hour bookkeeping fee. If totals are not correct, we will re-figure your amounts and charge the $60 per hour for this.
- If you purchase a home and need a mortgage letter, there will be a $30 fee for mortgage letters. o If you lose your tax return and need a copy during the year, you will be charged $15 per return. If you lose your W2 or other documents, there will be a $15 fee per document for pulling copies from our records and providing copies of records.
- If you do not have all of your documents at the time of the appointment, there will be a rework fee of $20 per rework.
***TIP: TO AVOID EXTRA FEES, PLEASE HAVE ALL THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS IN HAND AT THE TIME OF THE APPOINTMENT. The day before the appointment, review last year’s tax return to see if there is anything you overlooked.
If you are not sure about the deductibility of an item, just bring it with the copies. It is better to be safe than charged additional fees.
