IMPORTANT INFORMATION. PLEASE READ: Please have all of your documents pulled out of the envelopes prior to your appointment. Make sure you remove all staples, paper clips, glue, and tape from any of the documents. If a receipt is long, please cut it down to 11 inches max. Some might even be long enough to cut more than once. I HAVE TO RUN THESE DOCUMENTS THROUGH A HIGH SPEED SCANNER. STAPLES AND OTHER OBJECTS WILL RUIN THE SCANNER. NO STAPLES PLEASE! Also, if you want to take a deduction, I will need invoice and proof of payment. This includes all of the pages or all of the bills. If your payment on items is done by check card, I will need you to bring me copies of all of your bank accounts, all pages. Please make sure you have your original bill and a photocopy of EVERYTHING for me to keep. This includes W2s and 1099s. This will greatly speed up processing time. MILEAGE LOGS ARE REQUIRED. The mileage log must show date, beginning odometer, ending odometer, mileage, place, and purpose. If you did not track your odometer, you will need to do a printout from mapquest and bring those to me for me to keep. NO LOG, NO MILEAGE DEDUCTION. NO ACCEPTIONS.
